Twitter used to drive 30-50% of traffic to my newsletter @CannonStats, since Elon has nerfed and heavily de-prioritized tweets with links it’s now 8%. I ran a very unscientific test and even though I have 30x more followers on twitter than threads, the level of absolute engagement on threads and twitter were the same.
This is something that I know Ethan Strauss has highlighted as well. It really makes me question if twitter should be the first place I look for things or post (it probably won't and shouldn't be)
