I would think the smartest thing to do is have a tiered commission. 10% up to a certain point, then it lowers to 5% and then to 2%. (Just throwing out numbers). But even stockbrokers and real estate agents do this for larger transactions.
I have been tinkering with Ghost over the weekend but there are certain features it doesn't offer out of the box as does Substack. I have been trying to resolve this in my head but your post here has made me consider that, Substack is free to use, I don't really need to worry about my domain being nicklewis.substack.com plus there is more community here. Will I ever charge people for this, I don't think so, not yet at least.
